Digital Film Communication 10 (Introductory) provides an introduction to the process of digital film production. Students write their own scripts and create the story boards for their films. The course emphasizes effective interpersonal skills while working in crews. Hands on experience with filming and the use of digital editing equipment prepare students for the more advanced course. 
 
 Digital Film Communication 11 is a full-year advanced communication course combining digital film literacy with media awareness. Students will produce documentaries, music videos and a short narrative while studying the technical, historical and sociological aspects of these genres. Field trips, film competitions and guests from the media industry are part of this course. The advanced digital filming and editing techniques, combined with the study of various films, prepare students for the third year level.

Digital Film Communication 12 is a full-year course providing an in depth study of various cinematic genres while mastering the digital film communication process. Crew members explore the concept of filming with the heart in mind through media analysis and by creating journalistic and artistic pieces as a service for their community. Experienced cinematographers are encouraged to aim for the quality of award winning movies as part of their university portfolio. Field trips, film competitions and guests from the media industry are part of this course.
