    • Outstanding movies reflecting on various social issues, personal values and artistic endeavors
    • Personally, I continue to learn a lot:
      • We have a new TV show for grade 12 Film production
      • Some crews are making documentaries this year
      • We are going to film our pitches in front of the green screen and use animation regularly

    • As usual, the Spanish class created a very impressive final project after studying historical films

    • This is our third year of our three year revamping of the program. We are starting a new era of excellence!

  1. Participants will leave with an understanding of e-portfolio frameworks using backward design and formative assessments through student reflections of personalized artifacts.

    • Outstanding movies reflecting on various social issues, personal values and artistic endeavors
    • Personally, I have learned how to better use the new cameras; successfully utilized the student created instructional film about the use of our equipment (Survival guide to film production) as a teaching tool; integrated the camera operation quiz that I designed in Moodle; navigated through the updates and changes of our editing software FCP-X; used the sound studio with students more than ever, created clay animation with the Video Club and finally mastered how to optimize green screen application
